Diane Motel is the Director of Education Programs at Wildlands Conservancy and is responsible for the administration and management of strategic conservation education initiatives, including Bike & Boat Adventures, Lehigh River Sojourn, and community and school programs; grant writing and administration, program promotion, management of full-time and seasonal staff, and curriculum management.
With over 20 years in the environmental education field, Wildlands Conservancy finally feels like “home,” embracing the family atmosphere that the organization offers. Diane has a 9 year old daughter who attends Seven Generations, an environmental based charter school in Emmaus. They reside in East Penn Township and thoroughly enjoy all of the outdoor recreation opportunities that the Jim Thorpe area has to offer.
Diane also has experience owning a small vegetable farm and bakery, and working with rare breeds of livestock. Familiarity with The Seed Farm was initiated with both the annual bike ride and Farm to Table events, both personal passions.
