As Executive Director of the Seed Farm, Lindsey Parks oversees the operations of the Seed Farm agricultural incubator and new farmer education program.
Prior to joining the Seed Farm, she has worked with Buy Fresh Buy Local as their Farm to Restaurant Program Coordinator. Before that, she started Local Provender, a small business that connects small, sustainable farms with local chefs and grocers. She has volunteered with the Emmaus Farmers' Market and worked on the Food and Water Watch Farm Bill campaign.
Lindsey is a founding member of Seven Generations Charter School in Emmaus, as well as the founder of Lehigh Valley Natural Living Co-ops. She studied Economics at Washington and Lee University and has previously worked in the banking and insurance industries.
Becca Munro directs all aspects of The Seed Farm, including the training programs, equipment trials and the market garden demonstration.
She has worked many years as a farmer/educator for non-profits like Heifer International's Overlook Farm and The FARM Institute. Becca is a graduate of Warren Wilson College, in Western North Carolina, and is glad to be back farming in her home state of again.
